Is it possible to get the address bar in an explorer window in Vista, ala
XP? Or am I stuck with the sideways thing? I've looked under the organize
menu, tweaked the folder settings, I'm using the classic theme...Is it
possible & if so, how?
Thx,
Ripper

You're stuck with the 'sideways thing' afaik.

Having said that though there are replacements for explorer around - someone
may be able to suggest one, or a bit of Googling for 'replacement explorer
Vista' would probably bear some fruit.

It's the new way to herd the masses into the future of computing. Rather
than giving them the choice of old and new, in the expectation that
eventually they'll realise the newer is better, you remove the old
completely and give them no choice. They call it progress.
