You can try NVU, that is a free HTML editor, It is installed and works
on both my XP and Vista computers.

The download link is half way down the page, below the sponsors
logo's.
I was going to include the direct download link but is better you go
to the site and download from there, it is 6.75mb.
Cheers

You can also check free Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition.

Try Seamonkey 2.0. It is a browser with a built in html editor called
"composer". In fact, its so much like the original Netscape, you think
you are actually using Netscape.

Thanks for responding.
I'll have a look at Visual Studio. I assume that this product will
allow me to create and edit web pages.
I am a little surprised that VISTA does not seem to have an HTML
editor in Premium, or have I missed it?
Best wishes

Ping Yogi
I have downloaded and installed NVU
Are you using the following forum:
http://wysifauthoring.informe.com/forum/
McAfee has this site listed as causing possible problem downloads.
Have you found any problems using this site?
While I am waiting for activation, perhaps you can answer a few
questions?
I have a website loaded on my pc. Sometime NVU gives me a mesage that
thet 'the page cannot be edited for unknown reasons'. Is this a
glitch?
I don't seem to be able to load other pages using hyperlinks while at
a page. is this normal?
If necessary, can NVU be uninstalled simply by deleting the directory.
I see no uninstall facility
Any idea what NVU means.
Thanks
S
