Next time you attend a board meeting, bring up that idea.

Or that is the idea, make this a confusing mess and then they can say
"its a big mess, so we are getting rid of it!".

Microsoft has decided to not "grace" Usenet with Windows 7 groups.
Also, with a lot of ISPs dropping their Usnet and with the rumor that
Google "attempting" to drop "Google Groups," Usenet may disappear.
Look at: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-ca/default.aspx

smlunatick expressed an opinion:
Microsoft doesn't have any effect on the existence of Usenet, only on
the continued use/abuse of their own server, and some of the newsgroups
that might not be carried on other servers.
ISPs that have dropped their own news servers have had very little
effect on Usenet, other than driving their own subscribers to other
Usenet servers and services.
If Google Groups dies it will only improving Usenet, IMHP ;-)
