| hi folks,
i am desperately looking fro some help..
issue is i have MAC laptop whose OS crashed. Hence i have downloaded version of OS online(twice ) using my vista pc now i have 4 iso files which has the OS and i tried buring the image on disk(using nero) and use it to boot my mac laptop but it's not working.. so i am wondering is there any thing that i need to consider while i am buring a bootable CD for MAC os.

| Make sure when using Nero, that you open Nero Burning ROM, not Express, and select the option to burn from an image file. I'm guessing that all you're doing at present is copying the ISO file to the CD -- which will not work. Burning an image file expands the file into the appropriate filesystem and burns THAT to the CD, not the ISO file itself. AFAIK, any properly burned CDs should be readable on Macs.
