| hi, jus wondering if anyone could help me, everytime i try to play an avi file a few minutes into playing it my pc freezes up, i have all codecs in i.e community codec pack, divx codecs and windows codec pack. i am on vista home premium and also dual boot with win7 also,i have the same problem on win7 too.
my system:-
asus p5n-t deluxe mobo
q6600 quad core cpu
pny 9600gtoc 512mb graphics
4gig ocz reaperX hpc ram
samsung 600gb hdd
samsung 250gb hdd
asus 20x dvd re-writer
asus dvd rom

| | i think you need to install correct video codec. For avi, you'd better install ffdshow codec, be sure to mark all the video and audio codecs while installing. Then have a try. Good luck to you! |
