| | Hi all, I have a vista 32 bit. I have Avira Antivirus for Protection. Yesterday my Windows Defender warned me of a "Trojandownloader: Win32/Renos.JM" virus. The Warning keeps popping up every couple of minutes. When I tell Windows defender to delete it, it only moves it to quarintine. How do I get rid of this virus? Why didn't Avira warn me? I reckon I should get another anti-virus program. Thank you! |

| Most antivirus products provide options for dealing with detected malware. Moving to a quarantine area is generally the default option. Other options include deletion. You will need to check your options to see how they are set.
Your product will probably provide an option for deleting malware from quarantine. You will have to look through the menus to see how to do this.
As to AV products, my personal choice is ESET NOD32.
But, the new Norton 2009 product is supposed to be quite good as is Kaspersky.
