| | I had to reinstall Vista Business on my Dell laptop Latitude ATG D630 after a system crash. The backup created a folder on C:\ that is called Windows.old. That folder contains much or all of what was on my hard drive at the time of the crash, about 20GB. I don't want to recuperate the info as I already had a back-up on an external drive. However, I cannot delete the folder, when I try to recycle it, Vista tallies up the 20GB of data, then I get a message that the folder cannot be deleted because it doesn't exist or its address cannot be found. I tried using a line command with the same negative result. The folder shows up in Windows Explorer, it is definitely occupying a lot of space on my hard drive. Anyone have a suggestion for getting rid of it? Thanks! |
