| I am trying to just do a basic fileshare between 3 computers. I am trying to share my main user Folder which is where all my stuff is so that i can access it accross my network. Network is private. Same workgroup. File sharing is turned on.
I browse to the folder... C:\Users\**USER**
Right click and click "Share..."
I then click "ADVANCED SHARING" because the regular "Share" button is greyed out (??)
I click "share this folder" and give full permissions.
When i go to another computer and browse accross the network I can see the shared folder but when i try to access it i get "WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS \\*COMPUTER*\*USER*
If i click "Diagnose" it says " *USER* is avalible but the user account you are logged on with is denied access"
What do I need to do to make this happen?? I did it before on another machine running vista home premium. This PC i am trying to do it on now is running vista ultimate and is giving me this headache.
