It will be much appreciated if you create a new thread (discussion) for new
questions. Since you are not using Windows Mail to use this newsgroup, I do
not know what you need to do to create a new thread.

If you do not get an answer here after a couple of days, create a new thread
and in the new thread explain what you mean by "send mail contacts", "plain
contacts" and "rule".

What do you mean by "download windows mail"?
That mail program is included with Vista, no download required.

ok. What do I have to do to put my yahoo account on here?

Just about any you want, except for a few (like free Yahoo accounts)
which have webmail access only.

If you have the free US Yahoo account, you can't access it with Windows
Mail or Windows Live Mail.

If you have the Yahoo Plus account, then you can access their POP3
server...

Well "here" is a newsgroup and you should never put any real email address
here.

You have to have an e-mail account set up first.
Before that, you have to have an e-mail address. Do you have one ? If not,
ask your Internet service Provider ( your cable company ) for it. They may
even be able to have you set up the account.
If you do have an e-mail address, given us what it is AFTER the @ symbol.
Example, mine is xxxcogeco.ca
What is yours ?

Uh, you don't "have to have a Windows Mail account" to reply to a job ad -
nobody has one, there's no such thing !! You just give them whatever email
address you do have. It might be through your ISP, i.e. Verizon, Cox,
Comcast, etc., or it could be a MSN-Hotmail-Live, Yahoo, Gmail, or any
number of other email providers - you get them from everywhere for free - I
have one I use for potentially SPAM generating people at mail.com. Put it
on your application and then logon the internet to that site's email and
check it from time-to-time.

If you want to set it up as an account in Windows Mail you can via Tools >
Accounts, but you don't have to and it won't change your matt@wherever.com
address. It just provides another place to check for mail. If you want to
do that, like t-4-2 said, let us know the part after the @ symbol and we'll
help you through it.

Good luck with that job app . . . . . . .

They appear to prefer people familiar with computers, so it might help if
you are able to spend time learning about computers.
