| My pc's MoBo died so I got a new MoBo.
My hard drive is intact but will not boot to the new pc.
How can I upgrade the needed drivers without having to reinstall the entire OS? |

| If it's the same model Mobo, you should be OK.
If it's not, and you can boot into safe mode, then do the following:
1) remove any video drivers and default to the MS drivers and reboot into safe mode
2) remove all the other drivers (from device manager) for the added hardware
3) shutdown the PC and remove all the added hardware
4) should now be able to boot normally, if so, ensure that you can connect to the internet.
If you can't connect to the internet, grab the network drivers for your network card and install them. You will need network connection to use Windows Update.
If so, reconnect and plugin the added hardware, one item at a time, rebooting each time.
Windows should detect the hardware and install the drivers. Use Windows Update to locate the latest driver for each piece of hardware.
