I have just tried reinstalling Windows Vista 32. As soon as i insert the disc and click install now, i get an error

This computer does not have enough space for temporary files. Windows installation needs at least 405mb on any partition for temporary files. To install windows, free enough space and restart the installation.

Error code: 0x80004005

I have almost 250gb of free space on my HHD so cant understand why i am getting this error.

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Are you trying to reinstall on top of an existing installation? If you can boot into Vista, what does the Disk Management report about free space in the C: volume?
