Are there any downloads to restore RUN and SEARCH in the Vista START menu?

Search is there automatically by typing your text into the start area box; run is setup through the properties tab for the taskbar. Not aware of any downloads for these. If they can't be restored through these means, you will have to run "sfc /scannow" from an elevated command prompt to restore your default operating system files.

Yeah the search box is at the bottom when you hit the start button. At first it's a little weird, but it is more convenient.
