You don't use a "@" in a server name.
Replace the "@" with a "."

No, that was not your servers. Servers don't have the "@". Go to the
eastlink.ca web site and look at the help pages to get the correct settings.
I can't help much because the eastlink.ca web site is forcing me to "select
your province/region" and I don't know where you are.

Do you have an e-mail address ?
If yes, talk to the company who provided you the address, ask them to help
you set up your account.
Either that, or show us the part of address after the @ symbol, i.e. mine is
(xxx)@cogeco.ca

Also note that you replied to someone else's request for assistance. You
should create a new discussion for your request. You do that by clicking on
the "Write Message" button, the same way you create other messages. You do
that while viewing this newsgroup and then a new discussion (thread) is
created for you.

You mean you want to set up your Suddenlink email account
in Windows Mail? Your provider has that information, see

I see you posted with a Yahoo email address. Is that your only email=20
address? US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no
POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not Yahoo webmail.=20
Yahoo's solution is to pay them for premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.ht=
ml
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html=20

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have these other
solutions that will work with Windows Mail:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Use a free Gmail, AOL, or Hotmail/Live account.=20

You can also continue to use Yahoo's webmail: http://mail.yahoo.com=20
If you need more help with any of these solutions, just ask.=20

Sorry, we don't provide support via private email here.
