| | Having just upgraded to Vista. I go through the motions of downloading the Crucial Technologies System Scanner to identify required upgrades. The file appears to download but does not reach it's destination folder or any other part of my hard drive. The same problem exists with all executeables I try to download, incuding email attachments. I assume this is due to an unwanted security setting but I can't find it. Newsgroup and Microsoft update downloads work fine. Can anyone help? TIA Steve |

| I'm presuming you're using Internet Explorer v7 to do the downloads. You need the check the security settings as it may be defaulting to not allowing you to save executables.
