I bought a new Dell and it has Vista...stupid vista! haha

I am having 2 problems that I am sure someone has already figured out the solution to and I have been working on it for the past 2 nights. So in football terms: I'm punting!

Problem #1 When I go to http://www.jeacle.ie/mortgage/ (calculator) I get the following error: This browser cannot display the calculator.
You need to download the latest Java.
I understand that I have a 64 bit OS and I need to run a 32 bit. I tried Firefox but that didnt work.

Problem #2 I tried www.youtube.com and I cannot open any videos. I get this error message: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I checked java and flash and I enabled active scripting.... Flash stated that i need to run a 32 bit until they get flash to work on a 64 bit OS.

Help! Any ideas?

Thank you,
