| I just recently built the system in my sig. All drivers were installed and it seems to work ok but i have run into a problem when trying to run certain programs. I cant open control panel from the control panel option in the start menu. It works if i go to computer and select the control panel menu. Another thing, if i right click on the desktop, select personolize, it thinks for about 8 seconds and does nothing. Nothing comes up. I can access it through the computer, control panel menu. Once in the personalize screen, i try clicking on sounds, and it thinks for about 5 seconds, and personalize goes into not responding. I try clicking mouse pointers and it thinks for a second, and does nothing. Any option i click on in the personalize screen takes about 10 seconds to open, the ones that will actually open. Everything is brand new. Its a oem vista package. IDK what that means. Any help would be great.
