My nephew has battlefield 2 and we have tried to load it into his new computer with vista and it will not load. Do you have any solutions for us? He is getting upset at this operating system. Please help.

Thankyou Raz

Jason asked at the start if SLI works in Vista.
Now i am going according to what alienware says ( they sell pure gaming laptops so i trust them) and apparently SLI is not yet available in Vista. Should be soon

As far as I can tell, Vista in it's current state as of December 2007 onward, is actually gaming worthy. The performance difference between XP and Vista is now practically identical, were talking like a framerate loss of .25FPS which is essentially nothing. The only downside I see so far, is two games out of ~60 I've tested so far, I've still got a lot more to try, 60 isn't even half of the games I own, but so far I've managed to find 2 games that don't work, Rayman 2 The Great Escape and Medal of Honor Pacific Assault.

Only downside atm is:
XP Memory usage - 400-600mb
Vista Memory usage - 900-1200mb

So users may need to upgrade their ram, or lower some texture settings. Good thing is though, we have support for A LOT more total ram.

Vista Ultimate 64
Geforce 8800GTS
AMD 64 X2 5200+
4GB DDR800 RAM
500GB Harddrive
Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion
