xp and vista networking problum with printer...Expand / Collapse

i have an xp computer and lap top and two vista comps. the two xp comps can
see a printer on one machine but not the printer on the other machine. When i
try to ping the none recognizing one i get a timed out. Also the two xps can
see both vista machines on the add new printer but only one printer can be
seen.
