It was VERY useful to MS tech support people who had to field angry
calls from users before! 8^)

I too have had the hunch that MS gave up explaining and let the novices have
what they asked for. They weren't asking the right question, of course.
Like the saying, "Be careful what you ask for, you may get it."

Since you're using Vista 64, did you enable the 64 bit OS memory
remapping in your BIOS?

With all due respect, have you considered some basic computer and Windows
books, or maybe some classes if your local community offers them? This
question is nonsensical, it not only makes little sense but frankly if it
means what I think it does it's immaterial since a 64-bit OS doesn't have
the memory limitations a 32-bit OS does.

Similarly, the "I burned up my last motherboard overclocking it, can someone
tell me how to do it again but right this time?" thread indicates that you
may need some further education in computer basics before you try to step up
to advanced topics and projects.

What make and model of motherboard do you have? Some older boards have no
option in the BIOS for memory hole remapping. I know mine doesn't, so even
with 4GB RAM and x64 OS I'll never get the full 4GB of RAM available for
Windows to use.

Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)
