Hello everyone. I just purchased a New computer and am getting really annoyed with the fact that I can't adjust the Bass or Treble with my Sound Driver. I am not a techno person I am a noob/regular user I guess... So I wanted to know if it was possible to uninstall the sound driver that I have now and if there were any that I could install that did allow me to change the Bass and Treble settings. Thanks... Here are my PC Specs

Windows Vista Home Premium with a Widows Experience index of 5.2

AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor 2.20GHz

640GB on 3GB of RAM

32Bit OS NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT

Realtek High Definition Audio

I dont think sound drivers are your problem. The adjustment should be found via the following:

Right click the sound icon next to the clock on your task bar. Choose 'playback devices'. Make sure your speakers are highlighted in the list (if their is two enteries, select the sound device you are using). Select 'properties' in the bottom right of the window. Go into the 'Tone' tab. Their should be bass and treble sliders in there. Hope that solves your problem.

Asus-SLI Deluxe, AMD x2 4400 (oc'd to 5000), x1900xtx (oc'd), 2GB Corsair XMS RAM 2-3-3-6 (4x512), 500GB Maxtor HDD w/ 32mb cache, 300GB Maxtor HDD w/ 16mb cache, Creative Audigy 4 (Daniel Driver Set), HVR-1100 Dvb-t hybrid TV card, 580W Hiper Type M PSU.

5.0 score on Vista Ultimate x64, 6040 3DMark 06' score on XP

I went in there and there isn't a tone tab.. I did go to the Enhancements Tab and Set The Equalizer to Rock so that has helped some...

The Tabs there are General, Levels(volume and balance only) Enhancements and Advanced...none of them show any Treble or Bass Settings and I have gone through every Tab, and Properties and Advanced for everything and couldn't find anything other than The equalizer allowing me the Rock Settings..

Thanks for the Help... I guess I will just have to wait and See if an update ever happens that allows treble and bass adjustments..
