I've just done a clean install of Vista Business and SP1 (32 bit) onto a
Lenovo ThinkPad X61. All went well, except that I can't create a dial-up
connection for either the internal modem or a PCMCIA 3G card.

Both devices are detected successfully, and diagnostics in device manager
show them as working correctly.

In what I think is related, going into Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound
-> Phone and Modem Options doesn't allow me to enter my location information.
The drop-down list for selecting a country is blank. The Advanced tab
reports that no TAPI service providers are installed.

Has anyone run into this before?
