Hi All,

I finally got Windows Vista Home Premium stable. The only issue I have is that for some reason windows media player 11 will not play certain mp3 files. When I open the .mp3 in Gspot the codec is "MPEG-2 Layer 3"

Where can I download MPEG-2 Layer 3 codec for Vista Windows Media Player 11?

Thanks.

Matt

WMP 11 normally prompts you for the missing codec and allows you to request it from MS. Are you not getting that? Are you requesting it and MS is saying it can't find it?

Either way, a good source of downloads is MajorGeeks. Go to their site, look through the menu on the left, type in Vista Codec in the search box, and you'll see a bunch of codec packages you can download and install.
