I would start by running a memory test program overnight and see what results
you get. The stop code might give you some clue like a failing device
driver. Bad memory may also look like a bad device driver though.

Ok thanks,
So the DMP file doesn't tell us exactly where the error comes from? I
thought thats what it was for, or you didn't look at it?

Hi,
Sometimes it does, sometimes not. In the latter case it's frequently a
kernel error that is the result of some other process. You can send the dump
file my way if you'd like. Use a subject line of "per req" to get past
filters.

The forum you are using has a habit of protecting users by blocking out
email addresses. It slurps from Microsoft's newsgroup server which is where
I post. Not a bad thing but inconvenient at times.

The dump indicates a fault with a driver file lltdio.sys in concert with the
windows media player. As that file deals with networking, I would surmise
that the problem actually is arising from a codec that is being used by the
media player. I would concentrate on looking at what codecs have been added
or updated, this link from zach may help identify the cause:
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html, check the link on crashes.
