Why are the 2 things linked together?????
Most of us change auto update to notify.
What do you use for VoIP?
Is it Vista compatible?

i use just voip to make phone calls
i suspected "turning update off" as main culprit for blocking voip
application
i don't have any antivirus installed yet

Hi Girish2611,
There is no relevence with windows Update and your VOIP system, what
you need to check is see whether your windows firewall is allowing your
application to function ryt. also you need to state the error that your
getting when u try to voip buddy.
Hope this helps
Cheers !!

If the phones worked before the do a System Restore=20
from a point when they worked.
