I have a home network going, which is connected to 5 Computers. But On o
ne of the computers everytime it power downs the file permissions on my
Shared Folder for work gets Reset back to Read-Only.

Maybe there is an allternative way of Changing permissions
Permenantly.

I am Currently doing it Like so:

Right Click on

Shared Folder -- Properties
Sharing Tab -- Advanced Sharing
Permissions -- Read add Full Control

Is there some way i can make it so its always going to stay in full
control?
I need it for Everyone to be able to Save add Files to that computer,
but currently have to change that setting is really starting to get on
my nerves. Anyone have a possible solution for this?

Hi Luney,

use the Net share command in Command Propmt. Also there is not reson
for u file permissions to change once u restart. so make sure you also
check you computer with a anti virus scan as well

Hope this helps

Cheers !!

I did this and Net Share shows my folder being shared, and I ran 2
antivirus, but yet the permissions still get reset when the computer
shuts down. Is it possible that my Firewall is resetting these
options?

I can open up all the files on other computers, but its when I have to
Edit or add, files I cant do it unless I change permissions.
