After installing the complete Vista OS I ended up with Drive C where the
program is installed and additional Drives D & E - how can I combine D & E
into C Drive?

Vista doesn't have such feature. Use third-party disk manager to merge
them.

Yes it does. Disk Management has the tools.

Hi Jim,

Copy any data on D: & E: to C:. It's also wise to backup critical data on
all volumes before manipulating partitions on any system.

Click start, type diskmgmt.msc and hit to open disk manager.
Delete/remove the D: and E: volumes, then right click on C: and expand it to
encompass the free space that was created.

*Important* Note that the free space must be immediately after C: as shown
in disk manager. If it is not (it's in front or there is some other volume
separating them), then you will need to resort to a third-party program to
slide/move the volumes around so that they are before you can complete the
task. The disk manager included with Windows is not capable of doing this.
