Hello,

I have a problem with something to do with my audio i think.

I have a realtek AC'97. And after downloading the driver from the realtek site, due to windows not knowing what it was (!!!) i get what sounds like a power blip interference at the start and end of the sound.

When i use explorer, for instance, when the page changes, there is a small click that sounds. But on my pc i get a spike through the speakers, then the sound, and then another spike as the sounds finishes.

Any ideas guys??

Cheers

DAve

Windows provides some default "sounds" for specific events. You can turn these off or change them by going into the Sound panel in Control Panel, the Sounds tab.
