Unfortunately this has been deprecated in Vista. (and i do mean unfortunately)

You have really only one option.

If you run Vista Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise you can do the following:

1. Click the orb, in search bar type in gpedit.msc, open it when search finds it.
2. Click ok for the UAC prompt.
3. Under Computer Configuration (left pane) , expand Windows Settings.
4. Under Windows Settings expand Security Settings.
5. Under Security Settings, expand Local Policies.
6. Under local policies select Security Options.
7. In the right-pane, scroll down to Interactive Logon: Do not display last username.
8. Double click it and change it to Enabled.
9. Click ok, and close gpedit.msc

This will force EVERY user to always type in a username and password, the user icons will no longer display in a list on the logon page.

If you have Home Basic, or Home Premium do the following:
1. Click the Orb
2. In the search box type regedit and press Enter.
3. Click Continue for UAC prompt.
4. In regedit, go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
5. In the right pane, right click on dontdisplaylastusername and click Modify.
6. To Enable Username and Password Logon -Type 1 and click OK. (See screenshot below)
7. To Restore the Default Logon - Type 0 (number zero) and click OK.
8. Close regedit.

The next time you go to a logon screen, you will be required to enter your username and password to logon to Vista for your user account.
