| | Hopefully I can get some answers from some tech savy people. Thanks for making this forum available. I bought a standard compaq presario from best buy a few months ago to replace my broken laptop. I loaded microsoft office 2007 and use excel for my budget among other things. When I type words into a cell there is no problem, but when I type numbers into a cell and then select another cell excel shows "not responding" and it takes about 10 seconds before it moves on to the next cell. On XP excel 2003 would move from cell to cell without hesitation. Just wondering if there is a know problem that is causing the delay. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. |

| Best and easiest thing to do would be to uninstall office, then reinstall it again. That problem is obscure and definately should not happen.
