| Hello all,
I'd like to find a way to prevent Vista from loading stuff in the startup folder for one boot only. I don't want to clear the junk from startup or disable it with msconfig, because I want my startup programs to be there next time I boot. In XP you could just hold down the shift key while Windows loaded the desktop, but this doesn't work in Vista. Any suggestion?
Thanks,

| I don't think a feature like that is available. The shift feature in XP only made it so programs listed in your run folder didn't run, not registry items so it was fairly useless.
