| | My main PC as detailed below gets at least 2 small update notifications weekly for 'defender' todays was 4.3 Mb so there could be some important stuff in there you might think. So, why has my laptop with Vista home prem. connected to the same LAN had none for over 3 weeks?, I check today expecting there to be the same update but no, 'windows is up to date' ok search for updates then 'cos I know it's there............... nope I'm still up to date, Defender is running on both with exactly the same settings on the same OS, same network so what happens to the updates, oh I have had a couple of minor updates for the lappy during the same period, for mail junk filter and some other unrequired stuff, but not for Defender.

| | Havent noticed myself really, although I only have 1 computer with vista on it. What I did notice is that I had to manually download an update to improve wireless connectivity, which should have been given to me automatically. Something is probably not right with the vista updates facility. Btw I have the Windows Defender 4.5MB update to download and install. Says it was published yesterday.
