Unfortunately it doesn't live up to anywhere near the hype, even allowing for pre release gremlins etc; I afraid it's very much like any old RPG, but not nearly as good as the ones out in the last couple of years, but if you like spending your game time rifling through upgrade screens and talent trees, not to mention sorting out your inventory and drag the ones you want to a toolbar (Deus ex anyone ?), eventually unfortumately you do have to face up a few zombies (now that novel) and do a bit of hack and slash, but don't worry you'll soon be back organising your hero in all those configuration screens.

I wont be buying this game.

Great download link!

I'm getting a steady 750KB/s. 38 mins est from start of download. Not bad for a 1.4GB file!

I didn't like it. It doesn't require all that much forethought. As a RANGER you just grab your rifle and you can run into the enemy lair, guns blazing and all, and survive!!! I mean come on, we are past needing unlimited ammo, not even it's predecesor Diablo 2 had unlimited ammo. To me that seems like a terrible mistake and probably will be one of the main reasons why i won't play this game.

Plus the game is too colourful, It worked in diablo but it doesn't work as well in a hellish town which has a multicoloured army protecting it.

I removed it and wouldn't have it back as a gift after I read about the ingame ads and the fact that the EULA contains that you are permitting then to collect information about you, your gaming habits and others so they can randomize targetted ads within the game itself, they should be paying us to play it.

Yeah I know what you mean. There seems to be in game ads over the internet for a quite a few games. They have done it in skate and in rail stations you can have rows of bilboards wacking ads in your face. Someone had 'the simpsons movie' ads forced down his throught: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=285155
