| I must have missed this but you can now do the 3D cube desktop thingy that ubuntu can out of the box. It costs $20 after the 14 day trial but cool none the less. I will try this out asap.

| The GNU/Linux community has been able to do with with Compiz for some time now. I'm guessing it's an attempt by folks in the Windows community to show they can do the same thing.
But I agree, it's just eye candy, and although it's "cute", I myself don't use it.
