| | I hope it's alright to post this question here, I can't seem to find another suitable place on the forums here. Anyway I'm a new user of Vista having just recently purchased a new computer. I do a lot of work with pictures and XP was perfect for moving them from one folder to another by using the "move this file" option. Unless I'm not seeing something, Vista doesn't have this option and seems very outdated in that respect to have to copy it from one folder and then paste it in another. A really big waste of time there. Does someone know something I don't? Sure would be nice to do it the XP way. Other than that I think Vista is pretty good and I'm glad I got a good processor with some speed, it really helps when using Flight Simulator 2004.

| | Use the link to download TweakVI there is a free version with 13 plugins in, somewhere in there is one that adds 'copy to' and 'move to' to all context menus, there are several other handy tweaks too, one of the very few I consider it worth subscribing to for the whole package. Clicky

| | Thanks for that squire, you might see that on occasion my replies seem to be a little less technical, unless I have got to know the persons level of ability I try to choose a fairly easy method for them, especially if it means they don't have to playing in the reg. I suppose I could put alternatives in for those more advanced, but then, like you, they already know or have the 'seachability' to find it, but as far as I'm concerned the more ways of arriving at the desired result the better, I think it helps users increase their knowlegde and confidence with their PC, so thanks again for the added info.
