It has the following file in it: cisco-fast-manifest.xml

It's not a Windows Vista folder. Does another one of your installed
programs want it? I have no idea. If you want to be clever, rename it
to something else and run your computer as you would normally for a
week. If you don't have any errors or programs requesting the file then
you can think about deleting it. If you get errors, rename it back to
what it was originally and the program will find it.

I found the same folder on my E: drive and deleted it without any problems
so far. It seemed to appear after I installed a Linksys wireless access
point; do you have any such device?

No. But the file inside said something about Cisco and packet length and
packet data. So it very well may something to do with wireless. I'm running
Vista on a laptop with a Intel A/G/N internal card. Maybe it created the
dir. when i loaded the drivers.
Oh well..I'll zip the Dir and move it and see what happens after awhile.
Thanks,
Greg
