there is no escape unfortuneately, i know three friends who have gotten it, called microsoft, and have been told it's 'a defect. and it happens to a few units' That was the entire explanation. One of those two had to send it twice. Though I will say he got his unit returned relatively quickly.

I sent mine off to get fixed for it's first 3 red light...1 month later it does it again...jeez.
