Laptop Screen went black and acted like it was going to shut down.

Well i've had my hp laptop for about 2 1/2 weeks and i've had 2 problems with it. one of them is i had a driver error for this program i installed so i just uninstalled it. thats taken care of. and the one im having right now. only happend once. is my laptop screen randomly went black. and at the time i was playing Counter Strike Source. and on Skype and i had one FireFox open. and then the screen went black and the game froze. and skipped. but i could still talk to my friend for about 4 seconds then it acted like it was going to shutdown. but didn't so i hit the power button. and here i'am. and i really hope i can resolve this problem. oh and if i cant. do you think HP will take my laptop? i have a 1 year warrenty. but i havn't gotten the accidental damage. coverage.

I wonder if anyone is able to help me? I prefer to have my mouse pointer speed set to it's fastest. But every time I start up my PC the pointer speed has reset itself to only half the available speed. I change it and APPLY, but it still does it. I have searched for a solution unsuccessfully, and it is starting to make me paronoid:crazy:

I'm running Vista x64 Home Premium, the mouse is a Microsoft Habu. I've run a virus scan with NOD32 just in case I 've picked something up and the PC is clean.

If anybody has a solution I would be most grateful.

I have WindowsXP and share a Dlink with my daughter.

I keep getting 2 messages when I turn on my computer apsSearch Interface and apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library. How can I get rid of these messages.

I used a program called Ntune today. I adjusted the front side bus of my HP a6300f to 228.mhz. , which translates to rated FSB of 912.8 mhz. which using a multiplier of 6 brings the core speed to 2282.8 mhz. This is all without yet changing the Power Supply out which is 250 watts. Can I go any further or should I just leave it as is? Temperatures look ok. Mainboard is 22%C, CPU1 is 26%C, CPU1 Core is between 30 to 40%C as is CPU0 Core.
