I prefer to have my mouse pointer speed set to it's fastest. But every time I start up my PC the pointer speed has reset itself to only half the available speed. I change it and APPLY, but it still does it. I have searched for a solution unsuccessfully, and it is starting to make me paronoid:crazy:

I'm running Vista x64 Home Premium, the mouse is a Microsoft Habu. I've run a virus scan with NOD32 just in case I 've picked something up and the PC is clean.

If anybody has a solution I would be most grateful.

I have WindowsXP and share a Dlink with my daughter.

I keep getting 2 messages when I turn on my computer apsSearch Interface and apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library. I adjusted the front side bus of my HP a6300f to 228.mhz. , which translates to rated FSB of 912.8 mhz. which using a multiplier of 6 brings the core speed to 2282.8 mhz. This is all without yet changing the Power Supply out which is 250 watts. Can I go any further or should I just leave it as is? Temperatures look ok. Mainboard is 22%C, CPU1 is 26%C, CPU1 Core is between 30 to 40%C as is CPU0 Core.

Performance Scores!
