﻿<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"><channel><title>Windows Vista Forum / Vista Technical / Networking &amp; Internet  / Internet Connection issues with Vista 64 Ultimate / Latest Posts</title><generator>InstantForum.NET v4.1.4</generator><description>Windows Vista Forum</description><link>http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/</link><webMaster>Admin@VistaForums.com</webMaster><lastBuildDate>Thu, 28 Aug 2008 23:03:15 GMT</lastBuildDate><ttl>20</ttl><item><title>RE: Internet Connection issues with Vista 64 Ultimate</title><link>http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic97806-45-1.aspx</link><description>Update : Formatted and then clean installed a fresh Vista 64 Ultimate - Same Issue!</description><pubDate>Sat, 26 Apr 2008 02:10:38 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Kwanjie</dc:creator></item><item><title>Internet Connection issues with Vista 64 Ultimate</title><link>http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic97806-45-1.aspx</link><description>Hello Guys,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been having some issues with my internet connection over the past couple of days. here are the symptoms:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Internet Explorer doesn't load websites properly, it partially loads the sites and display some images with "x" in it&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Internet Explorer gives me the following errors when it can't load the URL&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;"The address is not valid" and shows &lt;A href="http:///"&gt;http:///&lt;/A&gt; in the URL Bar&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" if I hit refresh a few times the page then loads properly.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Sometimes when the pages don't load, it directs me to the "ask.com" search page with the site I'm trying to reach being searched.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Websites struggles to load at times and I have to refresh a few times to have it load&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When I download files using "FlashGet" it stutters and pauses at times and it freezes at 97% completion, I then have to pause and restart the download to complete the download.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;These symptoms started a couple days ago and I havent installed or tampered with anything so I'm stumped.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did the following to try and resolve the issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Checked to see if the "host" file was tampered with - Nope&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Ran HiJackThis and it didn't show anything out of the ordinary&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;used CCleaner to remove all cache files from IE7&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Checked my router and it didnt seem to be an router issue as my 3 other computers are running fine free of any conection issues.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Upgraded the router firmware - no result&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you everyone for taking a look and trying to help me resolve this issue. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Eddie&lt;/ID&gt;</description><pubDate>Fri, 25 Apr 2008 14:31:30 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Kwanjie</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
