InstantForum.NET v4.1.4Windows Vista Forumhttp://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Admin@VistaForums.comThu, 28 Aug 2008 23:03:15 GMT20http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic97806-45-1.aspxUpdate : Formatted and then clean installed a fresh Vista 64 Ultimate - Same Issue!Sat, 26 Apr 2008 02:10:38 GMTKwanjiehttp://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic97806-45-1.aspxHello Guys,</P><P>I've been having some issues with my internet connection over the past couple of days. here are the symptoms:</P><UL><LI>Internet Explorer doesn't load websites properly, it partially loads the sites and display some images with "x" in it</LI><LI>Internet Explorer gives me the following errors when it can't load the URL</LI><UL><LI>"The address is not valid" and shows <A href="http:///">http:///</A> in the URL Bar</LI><LI>"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" if I hit refresh a few times the page then loads properly.</LI><LI>Sometimes when the pages don't load, it directs me to the "ask.com" search page with the site I'm trying to reach being searched.</LI><LI>Websites struggles to load at times and I have to refresh a few times to have it load</LI></UL><LI>When I download files using "FlashGet" it stutters and pauses at times and it freezes at 97% completion, I then have to pause and restart the download to complete the download.</LI></UL><P>These symptoms started a couple days ago and I havent installed or tampered with anything so I'm stumped.</P><P>I did the following to try and resolve the issue:</P><UL><LI>Checked to see if the "host" file was tampered with - Nope</LI><LI>Ran HiJackThis and it didn't show anything out of the ordinary</LI><LI>used CCleaner to remove all cache files from IE7</LI><LI>Checked my router and it didnt seem to be an router issue as my 3 other computers are running fine free of any conection issues.</LI><LI>Upgraded the router firmware - no result</LI></UL><P>Thank you everyone for taking a look and trying to help me resolve this issue. </P><P>Cheers!</P><P>Eddie</ID>Fri, 25 Apr 2008 14:31:30 GMTKwanjie
