Unless you unhid the real Admin account, you're logging in as yourself and you don't have the elevated rights needed.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Problem now is that you have to be able to login to the desktop and use the Computer Management plugin to enable the default Administrator account -- and if you can't get to a desktop, don't know how to do that.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Second, and less important, the command sytax is "takeown /F &lt;filename&gt;".</description><pubDate>Thu, 29 Oct 2009 10:35:31 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>WAW8</dc:creator></item><item><title>takeown command doesn't work.</title><link>http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic244161-44-1.aspx</link><description>I'm currently running Vista64 ultimate SP2 and since I can't boot into windows I'm trying to use the takeown command in command prompt to take ownership of a file.
