I would like to run Vista 64. It's my understanding that you can order the 64bit DVD media from Microsoft if you own Vista 32.

I have a dialog with someone who has Vista 32 (upgrade) version that I can get on the cheap. That's OK as I have both Windows 2000 and Windows XP from which to upgrade (I'm also aware of the clean install trick) but that's not the question.

I understand that you can't directly upgrade to Vista 64 (It has to be a clean install). Given that, can I order Vista 64 media from Microsoft with Vista 32 (upgrade) License or do I require the full version License to qualify?
