Not having the CD, I have to guess ... but given that ASUS only started supporting Vista with the P5 versions, and not even all of them, if you have a CD from a P4 version, it most probably does NOT have Vista drivers on it.

Anyone who knows why, even with the original cd for my P4V800D-X Asus Motherboard it just says; No support for this OS version: WNT_6.0H_MCE ?

have u tried using your xp drivers, and if the driver installation fails then run them in the compatibility mode that it suggests to you, that worked for me

Hi, i just installed vista, but here is my first problem. :(

its an onboard soundcard. on the cd of my motherboard are drivers of it, and if I install them, i have still no sound. the drivers are --> SoundMAX ADI1986A Audio Driver <-- so i was looking for vista drivers for this one.. but can't find them.. any1 how to get my sound working?
