I have no idea how they are laid out on the dvd.

I thought that worst case would be to play it on the computer and somehow capture the sound while it is playing, even though that would take a couple of hours.

I assume that it would be legal to do this, as it is purchased?? This would allow the sound to be played in the car, in a plain old cd player.

RE: How do I copy just the audio from DVD to CDR

More information please...............

What sort of DVD is it, a film or data disk and what filetype are the audio files ? this is assuming you have the 'rights' required to copy such files if they are on a commercially produced disk.

How do I copy just the audio from DVD to CDR

I would like to take the audio portion of a dvd and transfer it to a cd.
What equipment do I need and what are the steps.

I'm running Vista home premium.

thanks

parkizoid
