And after downloading the driver from the realtek site, due to windows not knowing what it was (!!!) i get what sounds like a power blip interference at the start and end of the sound.

When i use explorer, for instance, when the page changes, there is a small click that sounds. But on my pc i get a spike through the speakers, then the sound, and then another spike as the sounds finishes.

Any ideas guys??

Cheers

DAve
