| Apparently Stalker doesn't like Nvidia's 100 series drivers so if you install Stalker you will need to roll back to or reinstall the 97.46 drivers. I can not verify this as yet but I will as soon as I get my copy (should arrive in the morning).

| Quick summary for visualsfor content I know these things are always very individual but despite excellent graphics and features I find it a bit run of the mill, very much a hotch potch of all the best that's gone before but with nothing done particularly well enough to make it stand out, for my money certainly not the expected much hyped game that's been years in the making and despite many years experience of all the various aspects of gaming, not that I'm saying I'm any good at it!, but I find some parts just too damn hard, I find it very frustrating if you have to spend time searching out the one narrow path you can take that wont end in an assualt by too many and varied foes all at once, yes the point is to get you to plan a strategy, good, but there never seems to me enough 'facts' to go on to do so with any real success it seems often that just trial and error (usually error) is the only way to get past some points. I have now stopped playing it for now, sure I will return and finish it but I've got to be in that mood, for now I'm happy with the intense gaming pleasure derived from CNC3, which despite RTS not being my favourite pass time has me firmly hooked at the moment, well I gotta fill in some how 'til Halo 2 PC comes out mid May. I have also been finding Infernal demo quite a nice relief from the usual FPS\RPG, I shall order a copy of that when it's due..............it's my birthday this Saturday and I'm promised by my lovely wife at the very least a mid range DX10 card in time for Halo and the like so I'm really looking forward to future gaming of the allegedly 'new' wave. Yes I know I do play a lot of games but if you have a peep at my Bio you will realise why and all I can say about my age and games is that I was born too early in the PC age, but if I say so myself I have kept myself not just 'up with' but in a lot of areas ahead of the pack. I often post long rambling answers as you may not have noticed and silly emotes but I like them used sparingly..........

| Interesting birthday gift. My mother seems to be completly oblivious to the fact that I want to keep up with the gaming community. Check the specs of my PC. I mean it's still an AGP!!!!!
