Greetings with a great respect to you all,

My soud card manufacturer is creative company

My sound card model is the Creative VIBRA 128

My operating system is windows Vista Ultimate

My device is defined as follow in previous win XP:

Device ID: PCI\VEN_1013&DEV_6005&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01
Detected chip name: Crystal CS4281 SoundFusion PCI Audio Accelerator
Chip vender: Cirrus Logic

My problem is: No driver for my sound card that is supported by windows vista, so please help me to make it work with that win by any means.

I came here to ask you for the driver itself, and I wish that any one give it to me.

Best regards to you all

I'm sorry but it seems that it might be mpossible with your card. You could try downloading drivers for older oses and trying if they work. But Creative no longer supports this card and therefore there are no vista drivers.

iirc the Vibra was Creative's "Budget" range, basically a soundblaster with less features?

"Cirrus Logic" is the chipset driver your looking for, but i doubt you will find it to be honest. That card sounds very "Win98-ish" to be honest. Maybe its time to upgrade to a newer, Soundblaster-esq card? Proerbly not the answer your looking for, but maybe its the only one. Ill keep my eyes open for a driver for you tho. Im guessing maybe someone may release some generic driver for your card in the future but i wouldnt hold my breath.

Thats basically the driver for other OS's , as you can see this card is supported under win 95

This is a Microsoft link to your device, perhaps there is a driver? Im in work now but ill pick this up later if nobody else has.

Cheers

Right... update.

Ok I havent checked this file AT ALL. If you download it and its riddled with crap, dont blame me. Or if it doesnt work. But :

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp23001-23500/sp23455.exe is the link for a driver that MAY work.

Taken from :

Hope that helps matey!

Nice Find Kev. To be honest as soon as I read that it wasn't supported I gave up my search.

PS: Kev how come you have Vista on the weaker machine?
