| Hey everyone, I finally got vista up and running today! I've been messing around with it for quite some time.
Here are my specs
Soyo KT 600 Dragon Ultra Platinum Mobo (integrated sound)
AMD Athlon 2800+
Corsair 512mb DDR Ram (soon to add another full GB of memory!!!)
Western Digital 40gb HDD (main)
Maxtor 80gb HDD (secondary for music and other stuff)
Aspire 400watt pwr supply
ATI Radeaon 98000 128mb (AGP)
problem is... I have no sound. I open device manager and it says i have no drivers...DUH!!! i tried to do the update through windows.... no luck. I tried the drivers of the Soyo.usa.com website... it says "Unknown OS" when i execute the installer.. damn I believe I have AC97 integrated audio..
anyone have any ideas?
id love some sound... THANKS!!!

| Have you read this off there site, it seems that they have beta drivers.

| great find! but the only problem is... my Cmedia is onboard and not a PCI card. I tried the installer anyway and it says no PCI CMedia found...  any other suggestions?

| Well you could always go through there forums for onboard audio. Sorry but i'm not familiar with yours.

| same sound card here and it is now on windows update for vista.
