Hey guys  anybody else notice a drop of download speed when running BT in Vista? it's not the connection either because my XP machine works fine i nregards to BitTorrent Speeds.

Is there a patch out to up the amount of allowed TCP connections vista allows?

Depending on the client your using you may need to open incoming/outgoing port on vista's firewall. Check the security forum about adding new rules to the firewall. A common port used for bit torrent is 6880, but you need to check with your torrent software documentation or website for the specific port that program uses. Then add it to the firewall as an exception.
