Well... I know it is possible to print from a Vista Home Premium to XP Home
because I can do it.

However, I cannot figure out why you get a spool error.

Stjb,

do you have your printer installed on the XP Home pc? Have any problems with
viewing shared files (documents)? I have opened up several ports on the
firwall execptions list, but still am having issues. Any help you can give me
would be great!

Of course it is possible.

But you have to have added the XP's printer as a network printer through the
vista machine, and downloaded from the printers manufacturers website a
Vista compatible printer driver to install on the vista computer.
