| | Can anyone help me? When i try 2 run beta 2 of vista it says i dont have "winload.exe" is there anyway i can download it or getit? I installed xandros |

| | hello first were did you download vista from??? second how have you put it to dvd, and did you burn it on the slowest setting.... third how you running vista, on a partition or on a diff harddrive???? are u sure that the boot program works correctly, i use gag45 to boot Xp and vista, but the file thats missing should be installed when you install the operating system, try re-intalling it and see if that makes any dfferance... nathan

| | right put in vista and boot from dvd.. install vista again on that partition, make sure you format it using the vista dvd options..... vista should have installed that missing file during instulation but something somewere has gone wrong.. iv googled till my eyes have popped out and there no clear answer to your problem other than formatting and installing vista again.....
