| hi! i just bought my laptop but im unable to install Sims2. The Sims2 wont even run automatically! please help me. here are some of the specs: Intel(r) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9400 @ 2.53GHz 4GB, 32-bit Operating System, 6MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB Intel GM45 express chipset, 250GB SATA HDD Thanks so much.  |

| General comment is that games struggle to work with onboard video chipsets -- generally not enough memory or too low a frame rate to be useful.
The Vista FAQ at the EA site mentions certain graphics cards that work and others that don't. It doesn't say anything about onboard graphics chipsets.

I would recommend that you login to the EA site, register for an account, and post a message on their forum. You would probably get a response a lot faster than here.

| I'm not having any problems running The Sims. I have all expansion up to Apartment Life. I did change it to run in xp compatibility mode though. It did load kinda slow for awhile.
